VETERANS AFFILIATED CHRISTMAS PARTY
2002

The VAC Christmas party was held on November 11, at the VFW Post #67 Hall. It was attended by many veterans representing their organizations. VVA Chapter 500 President, Dennis "Doc" Kauffman is secretary for the VAC. Everyone enjoyed dinner and a Christmas cake. The guest speaker was Brigadier General Ezell Ware, Jr., Assistant Adjutant General of the California National Guard. Chapter 500 members attending were President Dennis "Doc" Kauffman, Board Member Jim Armstrong, Secretary Gregory McNeill, and E.D. Mary Lou McNeill.

The UVOR Christmas Party was held on December 13 at the Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall. The weather was frightful, but about 150 hearty souls gathered together for the Christmas feast and fun. Turkey, hams and basics were provided by the UVOR and everyone brought a potluck dish. Two long tables were filled with tasty dishes and desserts. To the delight of all of the children attending, Santa made a stop and each child received a gift.
